Some lawmakers in Congress are now calling for Trump's commerce secretary, Howard Lutnick, to resign over his past ties to Jeffrey Epstein.

As the Gordie Howe bridge nears completion, Trump, in his latest salvo against Canada, suggested he would “not allow” it to open, saying Canada had treated the U.S. “very unfairly.”

Senator Elissa Slotkin, a Michigan Democrat, said "canceling this project will have serious repercussions. Higher costs for Michigan businesses, less secure supply chains, and ultimately, fewer jobs."
